Hello Holozing Community!
It's been a while since I last created something for the community so I decided to remake my version of Chirple. I think this Holomon is one of the creatures that is beautifully designed. I like the colors and the strokes of the feathers. It's well thought out because the proportions are spot on.
This is also the kind of colorful artwork that I prefer to remake. My style of coloring is using highlighters which have bright neon-like color effects. I enjoyed the experience of recreating and adding colors to the creature that I redrawn.
Here's how I recreated Chirple.
I started by drawing simple shapes that would allow me to study the proportions of the creature. After completing the basic shapes, I draw the details with my 2B pencil.

Then I traced the pencil lines to finalize the lines of the creature. I used a permanent marker with a fine point. This process feels enjoyable because I'm simply following the sketches.

Here comes the best part of the process, coloring time! I used a variety of regular highlighters. These are highlighters that you may find in your office stationaries.
