Exploring and Making My First Post From the BBH Project Front End!

Taking a bit of a sidetrack today to take a closer look at a new(ish) Hive-Engine "Outpost" web site, this one created by @bradleyarrow for his long-standing BBH Project.

As a long-time fan of Hive's communities, I am always interested when something new shows up. In this case, what's appealing is the idea that there's a new dedicated venue connected to a Hive project with a fairly long track record. BBH is not far from it's 4th anniversary... so that says something for its founder's determination and dedication!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has seen something started up with great promise and enthusiasm... and just a few months later it has become a "ghost town" with a valueless Hive-Engine token.

BBH has a bold mission statement: "Make BBH the most profitable income token on Hive for its holders."

That's a big promise!

For the moment, I'm just going to take a cautiously optimistic "wait and see" approach. If there's one thing I've learned about Hive, it is that a lot of people here are more concerned with "finding fault" than with offering support and encouragement.

Through various means, I've somehow ended up with a modest 4,500 BBH tokens... not exactly a fortune, but something to build on.

For the time being, I am just going to poke around a bit and evaluate whether this could become my new "posting community," since both domains formerly associated with the Proof of Brain Tribe have become obsolete, and I have struggled to find any evidence that anyone is taking an active interest in "steering" the tribe.

I realize some people don't much like community sites because they are "not decentralized."

But think about it!

Communities need some kind of driving force and "management" to keep them moving forward, and on-task. Decentralization is the be-all, end-all solution to everything. It's just a tool that can be used in conjunction with other tools to maximize the effectiveness of something!

But I'm rambling rather needlessly, so I shall just get this posted... and see what happens!

As always, thanks for visiting and feel free to leave a comment — this IS "social" media, after all!
