No vengo a enseñarte nada, hay autores que estudiaron el arte del liderazgo décadas enteras y lo comparten en sus libros, no podría hoy ponerme a su altura, ojalá algún día😎.
Lo que si me gustaría es compartirte este concepto, por si es la primera vez que lo escuchas, o a recordarlo si es que ya lo sabías. En momentos donde me siento estancada, ésta ley me recuerda que debo esforzarme y capacitarme aún más.
I often wonder why things don't work out the way I would like them to, why others do and I don't, why there are people who achieve great things by mere luck (I'm sure you've asked yourself this question, it happens to all of us). Then I remember the "Law of the Stopper" and it goes away. It's not luck, it's leadership.
I am not here to teach you anything, there are authors who have studied the art of leadership for decades and share it in their books, I could not put myself at their level today, hopefully someday.
What I would like to do is to share this concept with you, in case this is the first time you hear it, or to remember it if you already knew it. At times when I feel stuck, this law reminds me that I must strive and train myself even more.

Maxwell en varios de sus libros, como “Las 21 leyes irrefutables del Liderazgo” ó “El ABC del liderazgo”, comienza con esta primera enseñanza (observo que nos quiere decir que es una de las más importantes).

Quizás si conozcas la Ley de Siembra y Cosecha, no hace falta que la explique, esta ley viene a funcionar de manera muy similar. No podemos comprobar su veracidad físicamente, pero sí existe y funciona en conjunto con las demás leyes.

Es duro saberlo, no llegaremos más lejos que nuestras capacidades. Esto también explica por qué trabajar en equipo es más efectivo ¿verdad?, aunque no viene al caso ahora.
No me sorprende ver hoy a mis ex compañeros de la escuela, aquellos a los que llamábamos inocentemente líderes, triunfar en sus carreras o negocios. Esa influencia de la que algunos nos burlábamos, unos años después marcó la diferencia.
Yo no era una de esas personas, es más, creía que ellos nacían con liderazgo y que a mí no me había tocado esa cualidad. Pensé así hasta que me crucé con estos libros que me motivaron: estoy a tiempo de ser líder y si quiero el éxito ¡es innegociable!
Nadie más que nosotros tiene la culpa, la responsabilidad o el poder de elevar nuestro límite. ¿Cómo? El libro recomienda que podemos aumentar nuestro techo esforzándonos más, con trabajo duro. Pero también nos dice que es el camino más largo, que el verdadero efecto multiplicador está en aprender a ser líder, capacitarse con constancia y para toda la vida.

It doesn't surprise me today to see my former schoolmates, those we innocently called leaders, succeed in their careers or businesses. That influence that some of us scoffed at, a few years later made all the difference.
I was not one of those people, in fact, I believed that they were born with leadership and that I had not been given that quality. I thought so until I came across these books that motivated me: I am still in time to be a leader and if I want success it is non-negotiable!
No one but us has the guilt, the responsibility or the power to raise our ceiling. How? The book recommends that we can raise our ceiling by trying harder, with hard work. But it also tells us that it is the longest way, that the real multiplier effect is in learning to be a leader, training with constancy and for life.
Aprender sobre liderazgo y desarrollo personal es una de mis pasiones, saber que aún no se nada me motiva a leer todos los días, aprender y aplicar.
Cuando lo descubres, lo primero que te preguntas es ¿por qué no me enseñaron esto en la escuela? O al menos en la universidad. Que utopía hermosa sería ver que en todas las escuelas enseñan a los niños los principios de éxito (sé que en algunas ya lo hacen y me llena de esperanza).

Learning about leadership and personal development is one of my passions, knowing that I still don't know anything motivates me to read every day, learn and apply.
When you find out, the first thing you ask yourself is why didn't they teach me this in school? Or at least in college. What a beautiful utopia it would be to see that in all schools they teach children the principles of success (I know that in some they already do and it fills me with hope).
