Our Sunday each week is usually pretty chill. It is almost always the last day of the weekend and we both just wish to relax after spending so much time working (especially her). This past Sunday definitely fit into that chill category, but we did still manage to do some things.
@flowerbaby decided yet again that she wanted to dye some of her hair. This time she decided to go with a bright green color, which she had never done before. I wasn't convinced it was going to look good until she actually did it. The result is a lot better than I was expecting and I look forward to seeing which other colors she decides to experiment with in the future.
She spent a few hours coloring her hair and I alternated between watching the final two episodes of Mike, YouTube videos from people such as Danny Mullen, and playing some COD MWII Beta. It was an enjoyable way for both of us to spend a portion of our Sunday.
I ended up getting bored and taking a nap at some point. When I woke up, we both were hungry and decided to get ready to go out to dinner. We decided to go to one of the nicer restaurants in town, Bricks & Barrels. This place is one which we had never been to together. I had been there a few times before, but she had not. Actually, my brother and his fiance met there years ago when they both worked there. It's a really great place, but most of their food is overpriced.
Before we went to eat, we stopped at Charleston Bread to take some photos while the sun was still up. I got some excellent shots of @flowerbaby and her new green hair while the sun was beginning to set. Then we walked across the street to the teal-colored walls for a few more photos. I'm already having so much fun taking advantage of the new cameras in my iPhone 14 Pro Max.
After the photos, we went to eat and it was quite tasty. I had a peanut butter and jalapeño jelly burger with bacon. That may sound like an odd combination, but I promise you that it was delicious. @flowerbaby went with the chicken sandwich. Both of us steered clear of all of the $30+ meals. I didn't take any photos of our food, but I did snap a shot of the gorgeous sink in the bathroom.
While there, we got to watch some NFL and were able to witness the Cincinnati Bengals choke against the Dallas Cowboys. They are starting the season off totally opposite of how last season went. They've gone from making it to the Super Bowl to losing their first two games of the season.
After dinner, we waited patiently for the new episode of House of the Dragon to release. We both are really liking this show. So much so that @flowerbaby is reading the books on her Kindle.
With another Sunday in the books, we both prepare for a new week. I hope that you can enjoy some of the photos in this post today and thank you for reading my blog. Be sure to follow me for more content like this if you haven't done so already.
