MWII is here... partially 🔫

If you preordered Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, then you have gained a week of early access to the single-player campaign. This means that you don't have to fight the desire to play multiplayer and miss out on the campaign for months like most years. At least that is usually what happens to me.

Below are the launch times for everything. The campaign is live now and the full game will be out next Friday.

I jumped right into the campaign as soon as it was available. I'm not usually very interested in COD single-player, but I do always try to eventually get around to playing through all of it. This is the first time I'll be playing the campaign before starting multiplayer, well at least since Call of Duty 2 when I hadn't gotten Xbox Live set up for the first time yet.

The campaign offers players rewards for completing it. These rewards will transfer over to multiplayer and eventually Warzone 2.0.

In today's video, I'll be playing through the first 45 or so minutes of MWII's campaign. I will also be talking a lot about the game in general. I have to say, I'm pleased with how amazing this feels. It's not a massive leap forward, but it does feel better than last year's game Vanguard.

I won't give too many details about the campaign, but I would like to mention the fact that early on your travel to Amsterdam. Many of you who attended this year's HiveFest will be very familiar with the cool feel of that city. One shop I noticed specifically stood out to me. There was a one-room tattoo shop around an area where I ended up getting into a shootout. The environments in this game are simply great.

It honestly just keeps getting better too. After I recorded this video, I did a mission where I stumbled upon a cartel container filled with drugs and golden weapons. To my surprise, the game actually lets you pick up and use the golden AK, which is called the Kastov-762 in MWII. No, you are not able to snort lines of coke, bummer, I know.

I just arrived at a mission that very much reminds me of "All Ghillied Up" from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Two snipers set out to silently eliminate all of the enemies throughout the mission. I plan to record that and it'll be my next MWII video, so be on the lookout for that.

Thanks for watching!

Comment below if you too are hyped about MWII.

I watched your gameplay in 4k to better appreciate the detail, are excellent details in the graphics have done a very good job with this game, I want to see the multiplayer that is said to be crazy.

It looks damn good in 4K. It's even better when you're playing it live and don't lost any resolution at all due to it being streamed. Multiplayer this Friday!

I've always been a fan of The COD franchise. Single player campaign mode always feel more tactical to me than multi player, there are lot of surprises to discover. Can't wait to play the latest game on the franchise.

A lot of people skip out on the single-player portion, but I think it's usually worth checking out. The campaign early access was a great idea to encourage more people to play through the story.

Exactly! I think most of the effort is spent on building up the single player mode so it makes sense to promote and give a teaser of what it's going to be like.

I hope you enjoy the game a lot my friend, I imagine that you waited for it for a long time and now you have it available to play

I'm loving it, but next week is when the fun really starts with multiplayer.

is very excited about that multiplayer mode

I have never played Call of Duty games before. But environments look great.

That amazes me. I've played every COD ever released. One of the best FPS games of all time!

Oh my, I didn't know COD would be available in PS5. I haven't played the game but I always hear it from people so I'm really curious about it.
Now, I just need to save money to buy the game. hahaha

Of yes it's on PS5. Honestly, it seems like the best place to play COD thanks to the DualSense. If you can't save money quickly enough, Warzone 2.0 will be free to play this December. It runs the same as MWII.

Really? I shall check out Warzone too~ almost December!

telling all that the game is great honestly makes you want to experience that feeling and the images seem very real

Will be snagging this in a few days, is the drop shot mechanism still here or...?

I believe so. They brought the dolphin dive back too.

😭😓. Slide cancel was the "thing". It's a bad integration is what I call it.

this early access only have campaing mode?

when will be the online version ?

October 27th the full game will be out.

WHOOHOO!! :)

that skull mask is freakin awesome!

that was some long load time.. but oh so worth it..

I really how the view went all night vision..

it's cool hot the cut scenes match and are seamless to the real action.

Ghost is one of the coolest characters for sure, his mask is very memorable.
The night vision goggles are pretty useful for sure. One year they gave a real pair of working night vision goggles to people who preordered the $150 collector's version of the game. I didn't buy that, but they looked pretty cool.

DOH!

The poor boy said night night. Aemond knew right away that he fucked up big time.

yup. but dragon was hangry!! :P

NOM NOM NOM (just 1 bite tho)

whoa, cool! 😎👀

ITS ON NOW!

Looks like it's a pretty awesome game. I love the single player modes myself lol even though they are sometimes long and tedious. I love seeing what comes next lol

One of the most enjoyable COD campaigns in years. Luckily this one isn't super long and it's straight to the point. No running around wasting time, unless you die a lot.

Hello daltono

The game has realtime graphics. First I thought it was a movie.😂

A man on the street shot you dead in no time.
You tried good. I loved the game play.

The graphics are pretty great in this one. It looks so good on a massive 4K tv.
One thing that is certain about COD, you will die... A LOT!

I love Call of Duty's Campaign mode, man. Cause they're usually so careful with everything. Environment details, missions, everything is perfect. I love it. I haven't played COD for a long time, but maybe I will have the opportunity to play it in the future. I love the tattoo shop.

So far, this is the best COD single player I’ve experienced in years.

Many are saying this is one of the best Campaign experiences they've played in a while. I haven't played it yet, still waiting to buy the game, but from all the reactions and playthroughs, it surely does seem like one hell of an experience. I just hope that it's a fairly "lengthy" experience, and not too short.

On top of that, the team is already working on the MW 2 Multiplayer and Warzone 2 experience, using the feedback from the player base and content creators. That's a good sign, something I absolutely love. It's a good indicators that the game is headed towards the correct path, and the players will get what they want, how they want. It would be money well spent I'd say, and probably bring in more newer players.

It’s pretty great so far and just keeps getting better. I doubt it’s much longer than 5-10 hours, although I’ve yet to complete it yet.

I have high hopes for both multiplayer and Warzone 2.0.

I have high hopes for both multiplayer and Warzone 2.0.

Same here man, because those are the parts that we'll be grinding the most.

Let’s hope they have a steady content stream all year and don’t forget about regular multiplayer. The last few years, Warzone has been their main focus.

If they're both "playable" and fun, then I'll be hopping in and out of both modes.

These graphics are amazing. Wicked way to open the game, letting you pilot a missile that causes complete annihilation. Sound quality's pretty great. Feel like you can really tell what's up close and far away. I'll have to find a screenshot of the graphics comparison between campaign mode and multiplayer. That death came out of nowhere -- super quick. That dock mission was pretty nice-looking. Amsterdam looked really nice, love how these games aren't just entertaining but offer a window into all sorts of different international locales and communities. I'm also super jealous of Hivefest attendees after seeing the posts and how sick Amsterdam looks in this game.

It really does look even better than the multiplayer beta did. You can't tell a major difference unless you are closely comparing, but they are able to push certain things harder in single-player for whatever reason, it makes sense. It best looking COD ever for sure. The missile scene was quite clever indeed. The 3D audio really makes it more immersive, I pretty much always wear a headset for this game because of that.

There are so many different locations so far in this campaign and each one has been very pleasing. There is one mission where you de-scale a massive mountain. Another where you wear a ghillie suit and snipe. I just finished infiltrating a cartel mansion. Plus I blew up an oil rig out in the middle of the ocean during a crazy storm. They went all out for this one.

Holy hell, really does sound like they really went out of their way to feature a whole bunch of really exciting and diverse locations for the action. I've been thinking about getting a headset for that immersive experience, especially now that audio quality has just been improved so much now. Blowing up an oil rig in the middle of a storm sounds like a Hollywood blockbuster. Every time I see something new about this game, it just looks better and better.

I'm on the last mission now and it looks like another unique location. There is zero bit of repetitiveness within this campaign. Hands down the most fun I've had with COD single-player ever.

This looks so good but I'm not going to buy this one until this time next year. I'm still playing Vanguard and loving the multiplayer.

Really? I got tired of Vanguard quite quickly. I legit had to go back and play Cold War instead these last few months. I need this MWII multiplayer next week finally.

Hey, at least you'll be able to get Warzone 2.0 for free in December.

Yeah that counts for something at least.

Haven't played warzone in a long time because of the shitty internet. I play COD vanguard with upwards of 170MS ping and that shit can be draining when I experience latency variation.

Latency is a bitch and can seriously turn a fun game into such a chore.
