Do we need money or we need solution?

Everyday, most people get up early and sleep late in search of money. At Least this is what has been assumed by the masses, that all of it is to get the money. That Money will pay your rent, TV subscriptions, hospital bill if any, school fees and aid in a comfortable life. The question here is, do we actually need money? Do we do all this just for a direct love of currencies and notes?. I would say a big no. The hidden truth is, we don't need money, we need solutions. Everybody wants his problem to be solved and the channel through which the solution comes is through what is generally accepted.

Let's put it this way, assuming you woke up the next day and heard that the dollar note is no longer valuable, would you get it as a means of exchange? Absolutely not. Just as it happened earlier this year in Nigeria during the naira redesign, we all saw the value of old currency dropping to zero. I mean, no matter how much you had in old naira, it meant nothing. It was refused everywhere, no one paid attention to it because it could no longer solve a problem. Funny enough, that same old note was later accepted and it value resurfaced.

Can we really say we need Money?

Looking at the scenario above, can one really say money has an independent need? The need of money I must say is tied to problem solving. If money does not solve a problem then men would look for other alternatives. Needing money to buy a car does not mean its the money you are after, but rather the car, needing money to pay for your transportation also shows its the ease in movement you are after. If money was actually needed, it wouldn't be involved in transaction which involves the transfer of it to another.

What about those that hoard money?

It depends on how to define the term hoarding, is it more of keeping it as a need or keeping it to solve a problem. There are people who tend to have greed problem and the way to solve this problem is the ability to hold back as much as they can that it may not reach others. Hoarding does not mean storing the income from your legal business but rather holding back what belongs to others. This is mostly practiced in an unfair governmental system where a certain set of people control all the resources in the country, convert it to currency and keep it for themselves to solve their greed problem.

Crypto and Community Coin has also proven this

Since the emergence of crypto and some community coins, we have seen people accepting various digital assets as payment instead of the primary fiat. This also add to the fact that people have always been out everyday to solve their problem. If I could pay for a ride using virtual currencies, then why stress myself to the bank to get some cash, already my problem has been solved. Why do you think the crypto market is making waves, its due to its ability to do what fiat could do.

The world did not start with money

Again, we all know that from inception money was not in the list of creation. Money surfaced after difficulties were encountered in transaction and fair price sharing. Trade by barter even first surfaced before currencies did. Man is always surrounded by problem and what is accepted to solve such problem is what he will cling to.

Wrapping things up let me add, scripturally we know it is written that money gives answers. If it couldn't then it would be replaced. Man will continue to pursue what give him a better life. Better life is embedded in problem solving and in our current world this need has been pegged to money for transactions.
