Hello and welcome hiveans. I'm @daniky, and this is day 294 of my entry to #IAmAliveChallenge, an initiative by Eric Gustafsson @flaxz.
Easter is a season that commemorates the death and Ressurection of our Saviour Jesus Christ who died so that we might have eternal life. It's a moment of sober reflection and a time to reconcile with God our Maker. It's a moment that reminds us that Christ has died and reason, and He will surely come again and take home those who are in the right standing with God. So we are expected to live a holy life and forbid sin.
It is well known that in sin, our mother conceived us. So anyone born of a woman is a sinner. No one but God is righteous because our righteousness is more like a filthy rag before Him. So by the Righteousness of our lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we can now boldly come before the throne of God's mercy and ask for forgiveness of our sins. Easter is not made to be a moment to dine and wine or make merry, but a moment we are to check ourselves in out and ensure we're in good standing with our Maker.
Let's ensure we make restitution with God, go back and amend our ways wherever applicable. Live a holy life because without holiness no man can see God. Do away with sin by all means. Never trade your salvation for silver or gold. Know that the earth belongs to God and its fullness, the world and those that dwell in it(Psalm 24:1).
So let's ask ourselves as individuals, carefully reflect on these questions and answer them in our mind; Is the way I'm living my life glorifying God or not? Peradventure Christ comes this moment, will I be rapturable? What things am i doing that I need to forgo?
Lets daily thank God for the gift of life and for the enablement to witness another Easter season in 2023. Make this period count and extend the hand of goodwill to others around you. Put smile in someone's face today and see your life filled with glamour.
