Have always thought working from home is one of the easiest jobs to do but I started a journey in that part and I figured out it was stressful compared to working from the office. Well maybe because I'm working and also learning, which is why I think it's stressful but my work needs full concentration and due to this, sometimes I forget to eat until late night just because I got drenched in work and I work much more hours than people that work in the office with less pay compared to what they are earning, every time I asked for an increase my boss will always stick it to my face that I work from home but I know one day my story is going to change.
I don't get lunch break while working unlike others who work in the office just because I work from home but they forget I have multiple things to sort out and due to my tight schedule, I start working as early as 8 am most time and I also don't stop work till late at night which as a result of this made my leisure time very important to me.
One of the things I use my leisure time for is to engage here on hive, not just because I want to earn some extra but it also a great avenue for me to learn, when I go around reading other hivers post, I learn different things which save me the stress of going to google to study some things and sometimes I learn on here as well.
I might not come across somethings on the internet so easily as I come across them on hive. Just like when I learned about how they do water yam fritters through @george-dee post, the native name we call it is (ojojo) here and it is one of my favourite snacks but it became so expensive for me to buy and just because I don't know how to prepare it, I stopped eating it but after learning how to prepare it here, I now make it almost every two days.
I also use my leisure time to learn more about videography and photography, learn how to use some necessary software that increases your value among your work colleagues, watch YouTube videos and also try to practice whatever I have learned from YouTube. Photography and videography/ livestreaming is a very wide study and every new part you unlock in it just makes it interesting and Increases my passion for it.
I still don't forget to talk to Mom, which is the number one thing I do once I'm free because she knows how tight my schedule is so she has to wait for my call and sometimes she is not awake when I want to start work in the morning and she doesn't stay long at night before heading to bed. I also listen to music as it is one of my stress relief methods and listening to music while not working sinks into my soul differently than when I'm working, I reach out to my friends and make sure I eat something nice before heading to watch movies. If I'm lucky to be in a relationship then we can talk till I feel sleepy and I do sleep off watching movies and sometimes I play video games too.
This is pretty much how I spend my leisure time and don't forget, always let love lead.
