Hello Hivians
So yesterday was Teacher's day, and it was celebrated in my country, Nigeria.
Teachers, noble people, what would our world be like without someone to show the way, enlighten and educate people,I guess everyone would be as dumb as a donkey.
Teachers are such wonderful people, honestly,it is not an easy thing to be a teacher, you have to be patient, caring, kind, meticulous, smart and tolerant.
A teacher is a second parent, they are so much involved in the lives of the people they teach, teachers endure a whole lot, they have to follow each students learning process meticulously, sometimes they go an extra mile to give extra lessons and coaching, sometimes ,the pay isn't can't be compared to the stress,it takes courage to be a teacher, extreme courage, you have to set forth a good example for your pupils and students.
Teachers are not just paid to teach, they are paid to care. In schools we keep kids from different homes and backgrounds,a teacher has to understand all these people, a teacher has to care, sometimes a kid will come to school with a problem,a teacher is the closest enough at the moment to be able to help that child get through whatever the problem is.
A teacher has to be tolerant, sometimes the behavior of the kids being taught are not correct,a teacher has to tolerate and lovingly correct the child,in some cases punishments are given just to correct inadequacies.
I'm glad I had good, God fearing and qualified teachers through out my primary and secondary School years, indeed their reward is in heaven and even here on earth, the nobility of the teaching profession should never be underestimated, teachers are nation builders, teachers are noble,I'm proud of Good teachers and I want to give a shout out to all teachers round the world for their sacrifice to impact knowledge.
Teachers rock!
