The distribution of wealth remains highly concentrated:
The top 1.1% of the global population now controls 47.2% of global wealth.
The middle wealth tier ($100k-$1M) holds 38.5% of global wealth.
The lower-middle tier ($10k-$100k) accounts for 12.9% of global wealth.
The bottom 55% of the population owns only 1.4% of global wealth.'*P
