Targeting Dolphin Status
My 2025 goal is to reach Dolphin status by end of year. To achieve Dolphin status you must have 10,000,000 Vests.
I currently have 6,068,071 from 5,979,265 Vests in week 4. This is an increase of 88,806 Vests so still like 3,931,929 Vests. Activity on the Hive blockchain while earning Hive translates into Vests. I am not very knowledgeable about how the back blockchain calculations regarding Hive Power or Vests work but only know that I need to target 10,000,000 Vests points to advance to the Dolphin status.
I did not post weeks 5 or 6 so the amounts in this post will be for weeks 5, 6 and 7. The seventh full week of tracking my Hive Accumulation progress in 2025 has ended and it is now time to discover what progress was made.
I was able to accumulate 58.732 Hive and 7.058 HBD to my account resulting in a value of $26.739 USD this period (details below). I believe this is great progress during the last three weeks.

Alive Target
I have been able to grow my Alive and AliveM balances over the past three weeks.
Alive:

Balanced increased - 5.542 (delegation of 325 removed)
Actual increase without lost delegation: 330.542 @ $0.00029 = $0.095
Since I lost the delegation, the Alive tokens is closer to my actual increase from my online activity. This seems more inline with what I am experiencing during the weeks.
I am hoping to increase both my Alive and AliveM balance each week. However this week, I did not add to my balance.

Alive price dropped which I found unexpected.
**Growth of Layer 2 **
It appears with the reduction in price of Hive and the other crypto currencies, the hive layer 2 tokens has followed. This seemed only reasonable noting the correlation of the layer 2 tokens and the underlying Hive blockchain.
It is very hard to determine if a specific token is falling out of favor or if it is just an overall shift in the entire marketplace that may or may not flip and jump up again.
