Hello everybody,
I almost surrender to post this, how many attemps to post always failed since thursday midnight. But, with my tenacity hoping it can push through, at last it did. Anyways...
Again it is WednesdayWalk time that MakeMeSmile initiated by the awesome
collaboration of @tattoodjay and @elizacheng. Thank you much both of you which have same intention to bring fun and smile to readers.
My wednesday this week was truly relaxing. Very timely no soil test project, so, my son drove us to CEBECO - Cebu Electric Cooperative. I went inside the office brought with me the papers lacking for our electric application waiting for approval. My son and hubby just waited outside parked 30 meters away. The office was full of applicants and bills payor but still observing social distancing, the guard was the one controlling the line up and see to it all who went inside washed their hands and monitored the body temperature.
I was number 15, I waited almost lunch time. When my time came up, I just hand in my papers, the electrical engineer told me to come back tomorrow much earlier. I got up, went outside and told my hubby about our application. He ask me then what's our next stop. I told him must take our lunch, I was hungry already. The question was where? Hubby is person with dissability so, we must dine at a place convenient for him. My son told us do not worry I know a place that you will like, windy, just along the road and by the seaside.
I rode at the back with our grandson Kai, I hold tight by the railings , the multicab is open no side cover. I wondered where was this place, and I noticed we were leaving Carcar City and running on Cebu South Road, Municipality of San Fernando. When we arrived whoa, truly windy and the sea breeze hmm nice fresh feeling!
Grateful the open parking space was not yet full. My son checked the place at the down wing tables near the seashore but there was an event so, we just placed the chair we brought for hubby in between the coconut trees. My son and I chose the food and told the food server we brought the chairs at the parking space.
The food I chose was the "Humba" soft pig meat yummy much because of the sftness and tausi. I love the taste. Only one viand for me it was enough already. My son chose 3 kinds of foods.
After we ate, I relaxed about 10 minutes, I just enjoyed the scenery. After that I went down towards the sea, walked, walked explored what's expected at the cottage area. Hoo my, there were Bougies/Bougainvillas lots of them with different colors all branches were all flowers no more leaves left. I took selfie selfie!
The pictures below I just screen shot because It can not be open one by one having problem with my phone. At the side near the parking space is the monument of Archbishop Teofilo Camotmot the place of his motor accident that took his life in 1988.
In personal the bougie blooms is really beautiful with different colors. I appreciate must the gardener who tended them and the plant itself are robust, the flowers did not fell down or break with strong sea breeze. Amazing! Am thinking and very encourage to plant different bougie varieties.
We should have stayed longer, planned to go home after sunset but a client called my son scheduled for a site visit, so, we went home, he just dropped us at home, then drove again heading for Cebu City.
Anyways, about almost dark we went up the roof deck, viewed again the sunset that made us smile and thankful for our location we can view nature at its best everyday.
Thanks for passing by, may I made you.smile with my post.
