I was thinking about sharing a battle report of an interesting ranked battle that I played recently. But, I haven't shared any illustrations for quite some days. So, I decided to share the illustration first and then the battle-explaining video. But, I did not have any drawings ready. So, I started working on one and it took me 2days to complete. Which is 8hours of work time.
So, the drawing I'm planning to share today is a fan-art version of a splinterlands monster named The NAGA WARRIOR. She's a fierce warrior. To be honest she looks like Boa Sandersonia from the famous anime series called ONE PIECE. I'm a fan of both Splinterlands and One Piece and that is the reason I choose this character to draw. And this drawing is to take my participation in the weekly art contest of splinterlands. In this one, I kept the idea original but changed the standing style. And drew it as I liked it.
Here's the list of the tools that I used to complete this drawing:
Wacom Intous Pro Graphics Tablet.
My PC.
Autodesk Sketchbook Pro.
Adobe Illustrator.
At first I used the AUTODESK SKETCHBOOK PRO on my PC to draw the dummy of the drawing and then resketched over it to draw the basic structure of the body. I used my Wacom graphics tablet to do it. Because drawing lines with it is way easier than doing it using a mouse. The pressure sensitivity feature of the tablet makes it easier. Also, it's better to draw on a tablet because it feels like drawing on a real piece of paper instead of clicking and dragging a mouse.
- Then I moved on to Adobe Illustrator to finalize the structural lines. There I used the pen tool to use the clipping path feature of illustrator and drew the final border.
- Then I drew the lines for each part and for every particular coloured area. And then I used each layer to start the colouring part.
- Here's the result of 8hours of continuous work. I also used the brush tool too for completing this drawing. Using the brush tool to use was harder when I used to draw with a mouse. But, the tablet and pen made the job way easier.

I'd also like viewers of my post to join splinterlands. It's an amazing game with lots of cards, summoners, and options to play. This game was the option I came to know about the hive and enjoyed playing it. All those cards, their powers, different battle rules, and mana limitations make it playing more interesting. You can play this game to earn rewards, trade cards to make a profit or buy and hold cards or packs as an investment. I currently have some cards and some chaos legion packs bought. I still have a lot of things to learn from it. You can use my referral link to join splinterlands.
