Este viernes estando aun en mi escuela, recibí la llamada de mi hermana mayor, ella tiene un hijo de 12 años que está cursando su primer año del liceo, bien, resulta que mi sobrino tiene que presentar una exposición acerca del Covid19, y le pidieron que presentara un recurso diferente a las carteleras tradicionales, que debía hacer algo que llamara la atención y ayudara a visualizar el virus.
This Friday while still at my school, I received a call from my older sister, she has a 12 year old son who is in his first year of high school, well, it turns out that my nephew has to present an exhibition about Covid19, and he was asked to present a resource different from the traditional posters, he had to do something that would attract attention and help visualize the virus.
Imagínense, era viernes y en casa no tenía material para realizar ninguna manualidad, por esta razón tuve que solicitar a mis compañeras de trabajo material, y revisar entre las cosas de mi salón para saber con qué podría trabajar.
Imagine, it was Friday and at home I had no material to make any crafts, for this reason I had to ask my coworkers for material, and look through the things in my classroom to see what I could work with.
Por fortuna tengo compañeras de trabajo muy colaboradoras y me facilitaron una esfera que tenían guardada, la esfera pertenecia a un sistema planetario de aníme, creo que era júpiter.
Fortunately I have very helpful coworkers and they provided me with a sphere that they had in storage, the sphere belonged to a planetary system, I think it was Jupiter.
Conseguí así entonces la esfera de anime, más pintura morada, foami verde y rosado, y pintura azul. En casa conseguí anime que me sirvió para la base, y unas velas de fuegos artificiales que tiene una punta, me sirvieron para poder conectar la esfera con la base de anime. Utilicé silicón líquido y del caliente para hacer los chupones del coronavirus.
So I got the anime sphere, plus purple paint, green and pink foami, and blue paint. At home I got some anime that I used for the base, and some fireworks candles that have a tip, which I used to connect the sphere with the anime base. I used liquid and hot silicone to make the suckers of the coronavirus.
Bien al llegar a casa,reuní todos los materiales que tenia.
When I got home, I gathered all the materials I had.
Comencé pintando la esfera de anime de color morado.
I started by painting the anime sphere purple.
Luego recorté las medias lunas de foami para hacer los conos que me servirían como los chuponsitos que colocamos para identificar a los virus.
Then I cut out the half moons of foami to make the cones that would serve as the little pacifiers that we placed to identify the viruses.
Esos conos los pegué con silicón caliente para que se pegara más rápido el foami.Y un truquito, resulta que esos conos al cortarles el piquito quedan huecos, y no lo puedo pegar a la esfera de anime con silicón caliente, por eso los pegué a una tira de cartulina, de manera que pudiera pegarla a ella directamente con silicón frio a la esfera, sin temor de que se despegasen los conos.
I glued those cones with hot silicone so that the foami would stick faster.And a little trick, it turns out that those cones are hollow when you cut them, and I can't glue them to the anime sphere with hot silicone, so I glued them to a strip of cardboard, so I could glue it directly to it with cold silicone to the sphere, without fear that the cones would peel off.
Luego armé un ojo y la boca del mostrico coronavirus.

Pegué ojos y boca y comencé a pegar los conitos, ya con la punta recortada y pegados a un pedacito de cartulina.
I glued eyes and mouth and began to glue the little cones, already with the tip cut out and glued to a piece of cardboard.
Monté la esfera en la basé y listo ya tengo mi monstrico coronavirus.
