Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My current goal is 35k Hive.
Last week I made 533.9, bringing me to 34,701.040 total Hive Power. That’s 99.1% of my goal! As has been the case for the past few months (ever since Hive dove down under 0.20), most of that is from my fiat wallet, not from posts, so don’t get the wrong idea. But as long as Hive is cheap, I will continue to average in and therefore my weekly HP increase might remain high.
Math time. 35k - 34,701.040 gives us 298.96. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 3 Hive needed per day to reach 35k by that point. So if I increase by the same as last week, I will pass 35k this week. Let’s see if I do!!

Pretty normal gains in all of these. I’m still debating if I turn towards BRO after reaching 35k HP or if I push towards 40k HP. I’m not sure. I love BRO and think what @raymondspeaks is doing there is great and worth supporting. But I also want to keep growing my Hive Power. We’ll see which one I decide soon!
Silver
The silver chart for last week:
A pretty good week. No big gains, but that is par the course for precious metals, where we want more stability. Still… hoping for $40 next!
