| Of course the new year doesn't always bring in a new season in other parts of the world, with some places experiencing it far worst than others, even though most were hoping for a calm and quaint picturesque white Christmas much like what @xarabista shared of these photos from two years ago. The world seemed like a different place then, still a part of us must have hope that the nostalgic feeling from seeing these peaceful scenes can still be invoked in future winters to come. |  |
| As far as seasons come, they also go, and maybe photographs are a nice way to capture the magical moments during these random times, but there is something more of a hands-on experience in being able to paint a scenery unfolding in front of you-- like how writing lessons by hand during the early days of being a student (rather than just taking pictures of our notes), made for enhancing one's memory and association of topics, maybe painting this surreal winter sunrise landscape as created by @simgirl proved to be quite the enlightening way to spend the season, more especially if one learns a skill or two just by watching certain paint techniques on YT. ヾ(ゝω・)ノ |  |
| If all these talk about the winter season may have brought a chill or two to your bones, then let's move on to albeit warmer spots in the globe to just relax and take in this vintage southeastern coffee shop, Cheo Leo café as shared by @tuocchu from the culturally-rich city of Ho Chi Minh! What makes this 80's-dated cafe even more interesting is their unique way of 'brewing' their coffee, I've tried drip coffee before, so am somewhat wondering how rich the taste of this fabric-like filtered coffee might taste. Another heartwarming aspect of this establishment is that despite the lack of modern amenities like air conditioning, it only adds to the charm and nostalgia of the cafe and that it's still popular with a variety of customers, from the younger generation to those in their 50s, it's definitely worth a visit for anyone interested in experiencing a piece of the past in Ho Chi Minh City. （⌒ ▽ ⌒） |  |
| And since I'm also craving something sweet to go alongside the bitter aftermath of having coffee, this interesting Fabulous Cracker Candy recipe as shared by @generikat looks like the perfect definition of the sweetest dessert! Gah! Just look at the ingredients in OP's article! It's enough to make me want to sink my teeth in this homemade Baby Ruth inspired chunks of crunchies! I myself am also tempted to try this recipe out, BUT I'd probably section this into a smaller batch as I doubt I'd have anyone more enthusiastic than I in having a piece of this chunk of heaven. ლ(´ڡ`ლ) |  |
