Salutation Ladies of Hives. Trust you are good.
“My Gender, My Pride.” This is one of the slogans I have come to cherish over the years,
This week's contest I would love to write on. “Giving back is important. With that in mind, how do you support the other women in your life.”
God has given me the grace to have a lot of my gender around me since I was still a young girl. I love my gender and will not get tired of ringing it to their ears that they are special.
I am someone who loves to give words of encouragement to ladies around me. Words like Do not give up now, you are almost there, do not look down on yourself, the future is bright, your yesterday should not define you today, your today is what defines you, working on today will give you a better tomorrow.
Doing this things bring peace to my heart. It is like giving the little in my capacity.
Recently, I was made the Sisters Coordinator of the whole fellowship on my campus. It is such a great privilege and I thank God for it. It is an opportunity to give more, and also a great opportunity to lead and serve my gender.
A few months ago, July to be precise. We organized a marriage seminar for all the Sisters on campus. I discovered that is one of the major problems facing the world. 99% of marriages have crashed, 0.5 is crashing and only 0.5 is still happy with their marriage. We are not meant to settle for less. This is not the end of life. Our marriage must work, we are still students, but by the time we marry, we must get it right. During the seminar, numerous ladies receive deliverance from the wrong mentality about marriage.
After the seminar, it occurred to me that my sisters need to know that they are not to become a liability, but they should be an asset, to the community and also to their families. So last month a Sister's Workshop was organized. Where we learned about skill acquisition. It is good to be educated, but employment these days is not that easy. We learn how to make Gele (Native Head Tie) majorly used by African Women when going for Owanbe ( In Yoruba land any Party or Celebration is called Owanbe). If you can make beautiful Gele, you will earn beautiful money.
We also learned how to make liquid soap, which most students and families are making use of.
Enlightenment on how versatile the internet is and how to gain the best from it. Different things to learn on the internet and how to utilize the internet.
I may not be able to do much, but the little God has given me the grace to do, I am trying my best to be faithful in it. And this will not be the end of it.
Thanks for visiting my blog🥰
Grateful Heart ❤️
