It all started with a walk along a gravel road where I saw a small snail in a lichen meadow-
There is a tree along the path with a cut branch that, when it has healed, resembles a heart.
There is also the dried fruit of these propellers that fall and spin from this type of maple tree
Around this heart are three small snails that I have marked with circles to make them easier to spot
This is a view of the snail above left a very small snail.
This is the snail below
This is the upper left snail left on the wonderful carpet of lichen
A view of the interesting forms of lichen growing on the bark of a tree.
This looks like a bird and it's a magical little miniature bird maybe from Smurfs or maybe Harry Potter owl.
However, it was a piece of the bark of a young bud of a branch that fell off and remained hanging on the hairs of the tip of the twig.
Lichen further adorns the bark and looks interesting
A dried small twig that will grow lichen
This adventure came to an end with a view of my work with the view of a bird standing on the bark of a tree made naturally from small branches.
