Total Eclipse of the Heart (Cover Violin) @denysmusic [ESP|ENG]

‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’, o ‘Eclipse Total del Amor’ como la conocemos en latinoamerica, es un super clásico de los 80’s que de seguro lo escucho el mundo entero, ademas estoy seguro que fue una de las canciones mas cantadas en karaokes en todo el mundo, el impacto que tuvo esta canción fue descomunal, una locura total, ademas que su video digno de una película de terror de los 80’s acompaña muy bien el audio igual ochentero, esta canción es de la cantante ‘Bonnie Tyler’ y fue lanzada en 1984.
Yo decidí grabar esta canción gracias a un concurso que tuve la dicha de ganar en una aplicación de streaming donde actualmente trabajo, el cuento es así; hace como ocho meses mas o menos me invitan a participar en un concurso para músicos que toquen instrumentos ahi en ‘Bigo Live’, Bigo es una aplicación de streaming donde haces lives, los que hacemos lives por contrato nos llamamos emisores, y los que no lo son los llamamos usuarios, en esta aplicación puedes ser emisor y ofrecer todo tipo de contenido, desde cantantes, bailarines, músicos, influencer y demás, ademas que se hacen magnos eventos como concursos, conciertos y de todo, uno de estos concursos fue el que yo gane, tenia que ponerme en batalla con otro musico con la misma canción y un jurado calificado decidía quien de los dos pasaba a la gran final, éramos ocho músicos que pasamos a la semifinal y luego cuatro a la final, la canción que me toco en la batalla fue justamente ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’, yo tome el reto y decidí aprenderla para tocarla, cuando empece a estudiarla jamas pensé que fuera tan compleja como lo es, tiene una tonalidad super complicada para el violin con muchos bemoles y aparte que modula varias veces para el estribillo, en esa canción toco el violin como la voz de Bonnie y en el desarrollo toco la parte del órgano con mi clavinova, recurso que también use para ganar el concurso, toque varios instrumentos en la final (guitarra eléctrica, piano y violin).
Yo espero les guste como se escucha en el violin, le puse un efecto reverb largo para emular la época, ademas que le puse también efecto visual a la parte donde toco el órgano por lo mismo. Total Eclipse of the Heart', or 'Total Eclipse of Love' as we know it in Latin America, is a super classic of the 80's that for sure the whole world listened to it, besides I'm sure it was one of the most sung songs in karaokes around the world, the impact that this song had was huge, a total madness, besides its video worthy of a horror movie of the 80's accompanies very well the same 80's audio, this song is by the singer 'Bonnie Tyler' and was released in 1984.
I decided to record this song thanks to a contest that I had the joy of winning in a streaming application where I currently work, the story goes like this; about eight months ago I was invited to participate in a contest for musicians who play instruments there in 'Bigo Live', Bigo is a streaming application where you do lives, those who do lives by contract we are called broadcasters, and those who are not we call them users, in this application you can be a broadcaster and offer all kinds of content, from singers, dancers, musicians, influencers and others, besides there are great events such as contests, concerts and everything, one of these contests was the one I won, I had to battle with another musician with the same song and a qualified jury decided who of the two went to the final, we were eight musicians who went to the semifinal and then four to the final, the song that I played in the battle was precisely 'Total Eclipse of the Heart', I took the challenge and decided to learn it to play it, when I started to study it I never thought it would be as complex as it is, it has a super complicated tonality for the violin with many flats and besides that it modulates several times for the chorus, in that song I play the violin as Bonnie's voice and in the development I play the organ part with my clavinova, resource that I also used to win the contest, I play several instruments in the final (electric guitar, piano and violin).
