So, I think I am a fan of dry trimming now because this went pretty quickly. I still have a few branches left to trim and I will get them trimmed up tomorrow morning. This plant dried quicker than I was hoping it would have, but I think it still dried at a decent rate and wasn't too fast. I was hoping for a dry time of about 10-12 days, but it was about 5 and a half days.
Last time I dry trimmed, I was not a big fan of it because of how sticky everything was, but this time, it wasn't too bad, and it went a lot faster than wet trimming because the leaves that needed to be trimmed off were super dry and crispy and they pretty much just broke off. The longer fan leaves wrapped around the buds as they dried and helped to keep some moisture in the buds so they didn't really dry out too much. I think I am going to have close to four ounces once this is all dried and cured.
The smell of the green crack is really nice right now and it has a slight skunky smell mixed with some citrus. The smell is only going to get stronger as it cures as well. I can't wait to try this one out. I will let it cure for another week or so before I try it out. This strain is going to be a really nice day time strain to give you some energy and get those creative juices flowing. I just need to make sure not to overdo it when I am trying it out because it is going to be a lot different than the Indica strains that i am used to. I am used to a nice mellow and relaxing strain, and this one sounds like it is going to be the complete opposite of that.
Well, I am going to get ready to go see the new Jackass Forever movie. I grew up watching the Jackass crew from their early days in CKY and all their other TV shows that they had on MTV. It is going to be a nice trip down memory lane with some hilarious antics along the way. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my photos of my latest harvest. You are awesome.
