Mount Bedek and Nature Park "Bulgarka"

in #hive-1637722 years ago

I swear, there is no place more pleasant and peaceful than this in nature. My friends and I love to choose a cabin in the mountains, choose our routes around and go around at will, enjoying the greenery and the noise of the forest.

This time our choice fell on Stara Planina, and that part where it is high and medium high and is not that well known. It is located above the pretty town of Tryavna, that's why we call this part of the mountain Tryavna Balkan. The adventure included @nanast, @fog043 and over 20 friends.

This fountain, which is located at the beginning of the "Bulgarka" Nature Park, turned out to be a donation dedicated to the forest by good people💚
We left from the Bulgarka hut where we were staying in two groups, in total we were about 25-30 people, most of them were children.

The route can be pedestrian or bicycle, as the pedestrian part that we followed is located entirely on the territory of Bulgarka Park.It turned out to be a very pleasant forest path, I kept taking pictures of various tree mushrooms, the beautiful trees covered with light green moss...and if you're lucky, you can even see roe deer. I managed to see it the day before, but unfortunately I didn't manage to photograph it..

There were endless meadows of wild garlic - the levurda, from which we all gathered🍃

Unfortunately, in many places in this part of the mountain, we came across hunting lodges, which made us very sad considering our love for animals, which are part of nature..At this point we realized that we had lost the way and changed direction.. anyway we were not in a hurry, the day was ahead of us.

After about 2-3 hours of walking, the trail started getting steeper, the trees were getting taller.

The path was marked and there were a lot of signs, despite that we deviated a little, but we easily found the way. And the road itself led to the Buzludzha hut.I was interested in these signs that were stuck in the trees themselves.

Finally, after about 4 hours, we met the others who were resting a little before the peak they had climbed to. It was our turn..

Mount Bedek is located right between the peaks of Buzludzha and Bulgarka. They are 2 peaks - Small and Large Bedek, through which the Kom-Emine mark passes, we reached Small Bedek - 1488m above sea level.

I have to admit, there was something I didn't like..those wind generators that made loud noises coming out of a horror movie..they stood there like some kind of guards, super unnatural..

This is it from me for my forest adventure in Trevne Balkan.
I hope you liked it. See you soon 😊

Sort:

Wild garlic is my favorite and I go to forest every year to collect it 🙂 Happy to hear that you know this gem and didn't leave it all behind..

The forest reminds me of forests in Slovakia. I thought that the mount was in the Carpathians, but I've just checked and I'm obviously wrong 🙂

Great photos! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much @delishtreats I'm glad you liked my forest walk 😊 Have a happy Sunday 🌞
