My Wednesday Walk in Tryavna and the stunning atmosphere of the small quaint town

in #hive-1555302 years ago

Tryavna is one of those small and picturesque towns that after you have visited you want to come back again and again... this place has such a spirit. It is located in Central Bulgaria, at the foot of Stara Planina, this is also one of the reasons why I fell in love with this place, wherever you look you can see the mountain. There are so many attractions - historical, cultural, natural... in the city itself and around him that a person needs at least a few days to be able to visit them all. I walked with my friends there for only about an hour and managed to knit so much, but really it is nothing compared to what the beautiful Tryavna has managed to keep her authentic style.

In the first photo, you can see the Old Bridge, which was the first thing that opened before me as a sight after getting out of the car, and the Clock Tower, which is a symbol of the city. The bridge separates the modern part of the city from the old part of the Renaissance, we walked entirely in the old part, we see new buildings everywhere..

The Museum of Asian and African Art, which stores objects and sculptures from Nepal, India, China, etc.

Art, history and old Bulgarian traditions are everywhere on the streets. I was struck by the fact that there was no electrical panel that was not painted.

The old Slaveykov School, one of the first secular schools in Bulgaria, which was quite impressive for its time. It is named after Petko Slaveykov - one of our most prominent poets, who was once a teacher there.

This is the marble-built Love Fountain, the whole legend tells about the love of the young woodcarver and the most beautiful local girl.

This beautiful sculpture personifies the image of the Bulgarian woman who somehow took part in the battles for the liberation of our country. The flag that the two women are sewing reads "Freedom or Death"
