Hello, friends especially foodies!
On Sunday after church time, I went with some friends to have lunch together. The restaurant where we had our lunch named Warung Pojok which if translated into English it becomes Corner Shop.
The restaurant was not large but it was fine and it sold Indonesian homy menus. They had some chicken menus like smashed fried chicken, kalasan fried chicken (in brown traditional way, it is a must try cause not every place have it), geprek chicken, chicken wings, sausage, skin……. And they also had some other menus like noodles, fried rice, fish, soup, vegetables and some extra snacks.
Well beside ala carte, they had their menus in packages too.
As you probably guessed before, I ordered their special, kalasan chicken in package. The kalasan chicken had tasty sweet flavour in brown color. It also served with tempeh and tofu in kalasan style too. They also served it with tasty sweet savory a bit spicy flavour of chilli paste (sambal), sour vegetable soup – which had tasty fresh flavour in sweet sour. I love how they made all the food there, I love their kalasan chicken, kalasan tofu, kalasan tempeh even their sour vegetable soup and also sambal!
My question is, would you come and try them too?
