Hello Hive! How are you today? I hope all of you are doing well. It is my second time of going to the doctor for health check-up, June 11, 2024, Tuesday.
For my first picture, I ask permission from the front desk of the hospital if I can take a photograph on that wall.
The beautiful color of the sky due to sunrise
My niece and I woke up very early and waited for the bus around 4:30 in the morning. When my niece and I arrived at the hospital, it was almost 7:45 in the morning. I did not eat for 12 hours because I am going to have my lipid panel, Glucose or FBS test (Fasting Blood Sugar), and HBA1c test (Hemoglobin A1c).
Unfortunately, I over fast for 1 hour when I went to the laboratory for the test that I have mentioned. I fasted 13 hours already because I was 1 hour late. The result will not be accurate if I go over fast. The med tech still gets me a sample of blood for my CBC (Complete Blood Count) and Creatinine test.
After my CBC test and Creatinine test, my niece and I went to the cafeteria of the hospital and ate our breakfast. After that, I no longer eat because I need to fast for 10 hours. I did not eat lunch, but I let my niece have her lunch.
I need to wait until 6 o’clock in the afternoon to have my lipid panel, Glucose or FBS test (Fasting Blood Sugar), and HBA1c test (Hemoglobin A1c) or Glycated hemoglobin test.
After my laboratory test, I went to the Women’s Health Department to get my result for the Breast Ultrasound. I have my Breast Ultrasound last Monday, June 10, 2024. However, the result will be claimed on the next day morning.
The doctor who does my breast ultrasound told me that my left and right breast have large and small cysts, that is why I have breast pain.
After getting the result, I went back again to the Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic because I had an appointment that day to see the doctor for my Breast Ultrasound result.
I just sit down in the lobby while waiting for my turn because the doctor also has a lot of patients mostly pregnant women who are having their prenatal check-up.
The cyst in my left breast
When it was my time, the doctor explained to me very well the condition of my left and right breast. She also added that I must not get sad about it because the BIRADS (Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System) Category of the cysts in my left and right breast is 3. It is not 4 0r 5, so I must not worry. However, I need to do regular check-ups to monitor the cysts.
The cyst in my right breast
The doctor is very friendly and accommodating, just like the nurses in that hospital. The doctor explained to me very well that when the BIRADS Category of the cysts becomes 4, it is suspicious and when it becomes 5, it is serious, already breast cancer.
From now on, I need to have a regular check-up with the doctor and have a Breast Ultrasound every 6 months to monitor the cysts in my left and right breast. My next Breast Ultrasound is this coming December 05, 2024, Thursday.
If the cysts in my left and right breast get bigger in my next Breast Ultrasound this December, I need to undergo Biopsy. I hope nothing serious will happen in my next breast ultrasound.
The doctor advises me to have regular exercise, avoid stress, avoid eating foods with preservatives, avoid drinking liquid with preservatives, avoid too much seasonings on my food, have breast exercise every day when taking shower, and have a healthy lifestyle.
After my appointment with the doctor, I just wait until 6 o’clock for the last laboratory test. I am a little bit hungry, but I need to control myself not to eat.
The garden on the 6th floor of the hospital
While waiting for 6 o’clock, my niece and I went to the outdoor cafeteria on the 6th floor of the hospital. There is a beautiful garden on its side. It is where my niece and I stayed for a while and has fresh air.
Honestly, I am not relaxed after knowing everything. Although the BIRADS Category of my cysts is 3 as of now, there is still a possibility that it will increase to 4 or 5.
You may see me calm, but deep inside, I am truly scared because my son is still very young. I want to see him grow.
From now on, no more food and drinks with preservatives, no more seasonings, no more foods and drinks that can trigger my breast cysts. I must do regular exercise and have a healthy routine.
It is not easy for me because I am the kind of person who loves to eat. Though, I need to cut eating those foods that can trigger my cysts, for my little son, for my health, and for the people who love me.
Life is precious and incredible. Let us live, value, take good care, and love life to the fullest.
That would be all. Thank you for reading my blog and for having my back. Take care everyone and always practice a healthy lifestyle.
