Introduction! I have never liked introduction, it’s always felt like how much do I have to share about myself? What’s the limit? Can I be judged with those bits about myself? Will I sound boring? Are they actually listening or care? That’s why when I go to an organization for the first time I try to shy away from that aspect of it. But you can’t run away for ever I guess.
So let me introduce myself, my name is Victor Akpan, I’m a Nigerian, from Akwa ibom state, a graduate with a Bsc in Estate Management, an entrepreneur and business owner of the branding services called varietees. I’m bit of a reserved or maybe just don’t like people kind of person. But above all I’m definitely interesting, hopefully the more I say it, the more I believe it.
Writing has always been an escape for me, well, escape from heartbreaks, I tend to find the words when am hurt or overwhelmed by emotions, but it’s a sweet escape, putting down this words feel like a self therapy, self healing, self love?? Maybe.
So more about me, I love movies, good music, I so much love food, especially being the one to prepare it. I am comfortable indoors and with small crowds of people I know or will ignore me, I’m an over thinker, a big dreamer and impatient. I think my biggest strength is being a problem solver, well mostly other peoples problem, I found a way to look past the log in eye and take out the spec of wood in others, I’m that goto guy who comes through no matter what. But the least person I look out for is myself, apart from the normal grooming and feeding, I really don’t believe much in myself, ooh did I mention I’m smart, yeah, I’m very smart and intelligent, really above average, but I still feel bottom of the barrel. My greatest fear is having all this knowledge and still failing to make a mark in the world, it keeps me up at night, yeah well, hopefully it now keeps you up too thinking about your own life. You’re welcome by the way.
So I own a branding service, I make amazing tshirt, custom hoodies, Jean jackets and accessories, I’m pretty good at it and also thriving at it.
Like I said earlier, what’s the limit to what one can share in introductions. So I don’t traumatize us more I’ll stop here with a picture. P.S I hate pictures.```
