This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

here are the birds of the philippines. some endemic.

Coppersmith Barbets (Megalaima haemacephala)
On the day i saw it. It did see me. found it's nesting hole but found no juvenile. it was actively guarding it. i also like this bird. special its territorial attitude.

Olive-backed Sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis)
first is a male sunbirds, both are brave and did not fly when i tried to get so near to photograph them.

blue tailed bee-eater with a bulbul. i seldom see such scene. different type of birds on the same tree branches.

Colasisi (also known as the Philippine Hanging Parrot, Loriculus philippensis) is a small, colorful parrot species endemic to the Philippines.
