The Forge is a movie about forgiveness, fatherhood, brotherhood, and mentoring. And most especially, it is a movie about Discipleship. The movie tells us of a story of a young man named Isaiah. He happens to be done with High school but refuses to go to college or even get a job. He lives at home with his single mom, who keeps on pleading with him to get a job or at least try to make something out of his life.

He eventually goes to a company that produces gym equipment to seek for a job. The owner of the company decides to mentor him and to give him a part-time job. Through the process of mentoring Isaiah, he forges a form of father and son like relationship between the two of them.

This leads to a total change in Isaiah's views and his life in general. This is a highly recommended movie most especially for father and sons.

This movie serves it's viewers with similar package contained in a movie titled War Room, for those who have watched it. It borrows alot from War Room, especially when it comes to Prayers. It proves that the power that lies in prayers is actually more powerful than any of us could imagine. How God works in diverse ways that we cannot see. This is a movie capable of changing ones view just like it did Isaiah's.

The message behind this movie is of great importance. It is also a fun movie as well. It comprises of quite some funny moments, lots of entertaining moments as well. It reminds us that being a Christian doesn't mean you have to be all stuck up or up tight. You are at actually at liberty to enjoy life as well. There are still many things you can enjoy while not neglecting your role as a father, a son or a mother.

This is a movie that you will not regret watching. In opinion it is one of the best movies of the year 2024 that teaches about faith. There are not many I came across this year but of the few I watched, this was my favorite. It inspired me in a lot of areas.
