A Visit to Seeber Square, Buenos Aires.

Seeber Square is one of the most beautiful spaces in the city and the Palermo neighborhood in particular. The wide extension of its space has been chosen for different cultural events, attractions for children, theme parks within this same natural park, a place to have a picnic and spend a quiet afternoon, especially when it is spring season like now and in summer.

The square houses certain structures that are the main attractions, such as that pavilion, gazebo, or however you know it. A structure that was part of the gardens of the Bosch mansion, the same one that is now the residence of the American ambassador and that was later moved to Seeber Square.

This classical-style structure has been the location for numerous portrait photography works.

These paths covered by leaves of jacaranda trees are charming, especially when spring is beginning, they create a violet carpet. The trees forming an arch with each other make a fascinating mix.

The place is surrounded by iconic buildings, rural society, the United States embassy and other important moments.

Impossible not to take a photo of the Argentine flag, I waited several minutes waiting for a good shot where the flag was as extended as possible, the wind was an unfavorable factor at that time.

another view from the square towards Libertador Avenue, in the background you can see two monuments...

The monument to the Spanish that is in the middle of the avenue on a small island and the monument to General Juan Manuel de Rosas that is actually in Seeber Square.

A fenced space, dedicated to the little ones with attractions, structures, swings and more.

This is the monument to General Juan Manuel de Rosas, who was a politician, military man and governor of Buenos Aires twice. They called him the restorer of laws, he was in charge of the foreign relations of the Argentine confederation.

It is not the only monument to this national hero, there are many statues in different squares that house a tribute to him, even one of the subway stations has his name.

Near the temple, there are two sculptures of deer made of bronze on a masonry base. These works belong to the French sculptors Arthur Jacques Leduc and Prosper LeCourtier.

Near the monument to General Juan Manuel de Rosas there is another sculptural work called Tiger Fight, also a bronze work belonging to Louis Samain and Julien Dillens, of Belgian origin.

This is the side of the United States embassy. I took a few seconds to take a photo of these flowers before leaving the square.

There is something fascinating about these emblematic places in the city, apart from getting to know them, enjoying the space and what it offers, it is also educational for me. I have the possibility of knowing and studying what the attractions, monuments and everything that surrounds these iconic spaces are about.

I hope you have a good Sunday. A hug for everyone.

Nice space to visit and have a good time admiring the foliage of the trees, the colours of the flowers and the beauty of the statues and buildings. Now that I am "enjoying" a few days of persistent fog in my city, seeing your photographs has been a real pleasure and you made me feel a little of that heat that is presumed in the images.
