Wednesday Walk in Colegiales, Buenos Aires - Facades, Doors and Balconies.

It's nice to enjoy the urban planning of some neighborhoods in the city of Buenos Aires, not only the design, the streets or the buildings but also the homes. There is a lot of beautiful architecture with Parisian, neoclassical styles that are not currently built. This was what came to this country in the early 1900s and was here to stay, to such an extent that some of these structures are in an excellent state of conservation and maintenance.

Now that I think about it, I think you can find this in any neighborhood. It's not all modern. There are even English sub-neighborhoods and areas that really look European.

I always loved portraying these details when it comes to these kinds of architectural styles. Doors, windows, balconies with this aesthetic, it is truly captivating.

If you pay close attention you can see a lot in just a few blocks, you just have to look closely.

This was in the Colegiales neighborhood a few blocks from a bridge that connects to one of the train stations... Colegiales station.

There are many corners where you can see this type of houses, some are family hotels, guesthouses, others are simply homes and some are abandoned.

From that aforementioned bridge, you can see a dome of one of the churches in the area.

I'm paying attention to more details as I walk the streets of these neighborhoods so I can appreciate it in a different way.

This is Colegiales, but it is not even the prettiest area. This week I will be visiting some of the most iconic attractions and areas of this picturesque place.

A couple more steps and I was going up and down the bridge to get some extra shots and of course to photograph the landscape, the train tracks.

A short walk but with great elements to appreciate, if you like urban design and architecture. I hope you liked these shots ;)
