Once again I have returned to the community with some pictures I have taken while testing a mysterious game called “Alice Madness Returns”, maybe you know it or maybe not.
But it is certainly interesting for you to see how this video game has interesting scenes and moments.
Well I tell you, it is not really what I expected, because when we hear the name of Alice we will think of the colorful and innocent movie, but today we will see from another perspective more raw as it is that the real “wonderland”.
Here I took this picture of Alice in the doctor's or psychologist's room who is telling her that all her mental grief she should try to get out because it causes her discomfort to herself; however, Alice recognizes that in her imagination, her “Wonderland is weird in a way.” Something important to clarify is that Alice in her own mind created a world which serves as an escape from reality, which is very crude, as it refers to how people with traumas often have these episodes. However, right from the beginning it is clear that Alice lives as a worker in an orphanage or something like that, where there are children interned with some traumas and mental problems. While as I'm just beginning the story, I haven't quite figured out what problem or trauma haunts Alice yet, so I've set out to walk all over the place while photographing a few things. The whole place looks gloomy and despite being full of children seems to be desolate in terms of joy and laughter. At this point, I remembered that the doctor had mentioned to get some pills for Alice, so I came down from the second floor. And as if it were a sightseeing tour, I began to observe each of the objects that fill the corners with the orphanage. As for example these suitcases, which produce the thought to Alice that in a certain way “objects often serve as pieces of memories”. All that sentence makes sense when I realized that Alice doesn't remember her past very well or something like that, because she rather currently has a defragmented and clouded mind regarding her past. Now that I mention the past, which belongs to time, I set out to photograph this pendulum clock and other objects. Unlike the previous watch, this object or portrait does have a deep meaning for Alice because the game doesn't tell me outright, but I can already deduce that it is Alice's family. Meet Alice's room, which appears to be cosy; however, she mentioned that this is where she drew all her imaginary friends when she was little. Anyway, a little closer, I photographed the drawings so that you too can appreciate Alice's mysterious art. In the meantime it took a lot of time looking for the pills all over the house, but I discovered that it's actually outside the city, which I wasn't expecting, so we'll probably see the outside in another post. But before closing this chapter, I would like to show you my last two photographs. These kids are innocently playing with a house; however, I got to hear them mumbling that Alice was crazy and that they didn't know what she was doing standing their xd. On the other hand, we see a picture of the doctor with some local children, which are listed in their clothes, which leaves much to think about, because it seems that the environment where Alice is already dark and gloomy, now I understand how the pills they are looking for are useful to alleviate the ailments of those who live there.
