I mean no disrespect, but it’s overwhelming; quite exciting to be here.
Officially now, greetings to the great minds on this HIVE platform, I feel a positive energy from a couple miles away and it satisfies my enthusiasm, you can only imagine the ecstasy of being a part of this community. This is my first post here, and I wish to introduce my humble self.
Aniekeme Mbaba is my name, a Nigerian citizen, an indigene of Ibiono Ibom in Akwa Ibom State, currently resident in Uyo Metropolis, the state’s capital. I’m tall, dark and handsome, TDH in the real sense actually, and yes I am nicely bearded (smiles). I am a Christian by virtue and practice, upholding moral standards and Kingdom principles in all my endeavours.
As the second son and third sibling in a family of three males and three females (now two), I love daring and adventure; I tend not to follow where the path leads, but rather create a path and leave a trail. This made me a concern to my immediate elder brother @Uyobong who has conquered my will-power, he had also won over two of my younger siblings, into this noble community. Now, that’s a good place to say we are a HIVE family, many thanks to “big brother” duties excellently done (smiles).
I am a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with an active experience of about a decade, passionately transforming raw ideas into visual attractions. I run a real-time printing/publishing agency (AD Signatures), and an online branding hub (DonGrafixx), working with such tools/softwares as CorelDraw Graphic Suites and Adobe Photoshop, to create stunning designs that effectively communicate essence and sustain pleasant impressions. I’ve also attained a level of proficiency with basic data processing packages like Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Access.
I love God’s word, good music, serenity and high-end fashion; these and many more are what fuels my passion and drives my creativity.
My journey to HIVE is a build-up of consistent nudging from my elder brother, dated back to the days of Steem-it. Then an enthusiasm was birthed to belong in a forum where my creative abilities can be challenged and my self-branding can be shaped. Ofcourse it took quite a while to initiate the process, but I’m already excited, fielding interesting and engaging contents on this forum.
I am here not just for the fun, but also to contribute my quota to the big picture of the creative space. Moreso, I hope to diligently learn from and exchange views/perspectives with noble enthusiasts in this forum, in a bid to shape and sharpen my creative tendencies and writing skills. I am also open to geeks and branding engagements that will help spur my creative thinking and promote my brand.
This is a big Thank you to my big brother @Uyobong, for not letting it slide, for ensuring that I’m properly girded and guided through, till I join this forum. I also acknowledge the efforts of friends and allies already on the HIVE platform; I see what you do and I’m grateful.
