Emmeline was steadfast and stoic. One had to be when one was the niece of Lady Tabby and never quiet lived up to her expectations.
Emmeline had been told time and again, since she was a child, by her Lady Aunt that,"Despite her unfortunate Father she could make something of herself. Of course, "Making something of yourself" to Lady Tabby meant a proper marriage.
Emmeline never pointed out that her "Unfortunate Father" was a proud Vicar (in a neighboring county) and was a third son of an Earl. Whilst Lady Tabby had got her "lady title" via marriage and a large dowry given her by a doting Father who owned large factories in the North. One never spoke of Trade in Lady Tabby's company, or she'd flinch and moan and become quite impossible.
No, Emmeline knew her lot and tried to be thankful for her Aunt. She had come to settle with her for the Season and would try her best to be amiable. She was about to put that into practice for here came her Lady Aunt followed by her impish little maid.

I'm in a way fleshing out bits of my little story. Again, I've not put any sort of pressure on myself to make it a cohesive whole, but I do like it if my characters story sort of bump into one another, per se.

I hope you are enjoying my little characters as much as I am making them.
I need to take some time to play with them in photoshop to resize and adjust to start making them ready to be put onto things. I'm also considering making a framed collection of my favorites for my little antique cottage, I think they'd be quite happy there.
Thank you for joining me today and I hope you get a moment in your day to indulge in your own passions.
