Hello my fellow needle workers.I hope you had an amazing day. Sooo at this point it's safe to say I'm in my gift making era right now. I made this mesh top for the client that got the romper as a birthday gift. I made a few things for her as a gift from the brand.
Like I had stated earlier she has been a huge support to the brand and this was just my way of making her know we see her.
It took a long time to finally decide on what to make and it was a lot. I needed something she would be comfortable with wearing. One has to be comfortable with the gift you give to them.
I finally decided on this top since I've seen her wear a lot of crop tops so I just made a covering just in case she wants to wear a tube top and yeah she loved it.
Making this was not hard but hard. Not hard in the sense that it waa just Mesh, hard in the sense that I've not made something of this sort in a very very long time. So figuring out how I made the last one took some time. I mostly make shrugs so this one was different from what my hook and I are used to on a normal basis but I think we figured it out.
This was sort of like an urgent work because the yarns did not come in early. It's more like the color was not available when we made our order so when it was I got to making it immediately and I barely had the time to take pictures of my process or the finished work. So in my head I am like yeah they might actually start wondering why I did an orange romper and now an orange mesh top for her. Well it is pretty simple. The truth is that is the only color I have seen her wear more than 4 times and also she wears it comfortably so I just guessed it was her favorite and I was right, I am happy I was. Lord knows what I would have done if it wasn't a good pick.
I did pick a day time for the surprise. Told someone to let me know when she was there. And when I got there she was happy. She was basically asking how I knew she liked orange and I was like errr you wear it a lot. It's kinda hard to miss. Also I do not get to surprise a lot of people so the ones I can, I let it sink in well and I enjoy the entire process because who knows when next it'll happen.
It was fun making this. I hope y'all love it too.
