Chris Jericho's Impact on AEW and His Possible Retirement

Hello guys. Well, I wanted to speak about something that has been on my mind lately – the journey of Chris Jericho in AEW and whether he should soon retire from wrestling.

Okay, I am no expert but I have followed wrestling for quite some time and there are some things I want to get across.

Firstly, let us talk about how Chris Jericho brought Jake Hager into AEW. You see, Jericho is like a godfather of sorts in AEW.

He has been around for quite a long time and therefore knows many people within the wrestling industry. So when he brought Hager over to join AEW from WWE it was a big thing.

WWE’s previous champion Hager is now involved with Jericho’s crew at AEW — isn’t that awesome?

About Jericho himself now. Since the inception of AEW he has been here and done so much for the promotion.

He was also first ever AEW World Champion which signifies something significant happening in the history of this company.

Back when it started, Jerusalem attracted a lot of attention towards this outfit and still remains a large name in wrestling currently.

However, the point is wrestling is a hard sport. Over time, Jericho – who has been in it for long years – has had his fair share of ring battles. Recent loss to FTW Champion HOOK on Dynamite reminded me of one thing: maybe he should retire from active competition and hang his boots.

But then again, don’t get me wrong Jericho still got it going on in that ring. He can give performances like no other and he never lacks entertainment whenever you watch him wrestle.

Still yet, wrestling takes a toll on your body, and Jericho is not getting any younger. Perhaps he should take a step back and concentrate on other things in life.

I know some people might disagree with me because they will argue that Jericho still has some gas left in his tank and that as long as he wants to keep wrestling; he should.

They may have a point too by all means; after all, Jericho is the legend of wrestling and he has every right to decide when enough is already enough.

On a personal level though, I have always thought Jericho has done so much for AEW and wrestling in general he’s had an incredible career and left a lasting impression on the industry.

Maybe it’s time for him to give up the mantle and allow the next generation of fighters to take over while he goes on a well-earned hiatus.

In conclusion, Chris Jericho has been a major asset to AEW, and his impact on wrestling is beyond doubt.

Nevertheless, I think it is time that he calls it quits from active competition and focuses on other things.

But regardless of what he chooses to do, I will forever be a fan of The Lionheart.
