First attempt at the Soul Strangler share your battle challenge, its a pretty decent card that I like to use in lower mana battles since it does have a pretty high attack value for its low cost.

Battle rules
Symbol | Rule Effect |
---|---|
Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. | |
Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position. |
Total Mana : 30
Usable elements : Fire, Water, Life, Death and Dragon
Reverse speed with melee mayhem, there is an high chance they might go with a melee based team and fire is pretty good with these ruleset.
Team Composition
Card | Role | Reason |
---|---|---|
Summoner | Thaddius brood with its -1 to magic and heath its a pretty great summoner to use, making your oppenent have less hp is always nice. | |
Main tank, Immunity, Shield, Demoralize | Harklaw at level 3 it has demoralize which when combined with its shield is extremely good, works well in this ruleset as well since its going to be placed in the first position | |
Demoralize | Disintegrator with its Demoralize, since its possible to stack Demoralize it possible to reduce the opponent melee damage to 1 point which would be negated by the shield ability | |
Magic Damage, Knockout | Revealer with its knockout which is quite good at a 50% chance to make the unit skip its turn, it luck is on my side it will continuously trigger making the opponent unit unable to act | |
Range Damage, Star of the challenge | Soul Strangler just in case they think like me and reduce my melee damage to a low number, having a strong range damage is not bad | |
Sneak, Poison | Uraeus with the sneak and poison ability its always nice to have, the poison ability is very strong after all. | |
Sneak shield, Flying | Carrion Shade with its flying its the prefect sneak shield and with the ruleset it is still able to attack from this position |
Now on to the Battle
Round 1
They did go with a melee focus team which is heavily crippled by the double demoralize stacks which made all their units deal only 1 damage sadly the units have sneak which allowed them to target my backline.
Round 2 & 3
Round 4 to The End
Still with the double demoralize it works wonders keeping my team alive for the most part of this battle.
Strategy Talk
The strategy was mainly around harklaw with its shield and double demoralize stacks reducing the opponent's melee damage if their uriel had is full damage and their sneak units had more damage the battle might have gone differently, since when compared to their back line mine had a lower set of hp.
Soul Strangler is a decent card to use in low mana battle since it does have a quite good amount of damage for its cost, however its hp is quite low so it might be taken out early.
Good ruleset to use in:
Ruleset | Explanation |
---|---|
Close Range | Removes its weakness of not being able to attack when in the front |
Odd Ones Out | Since its an odd can it works in this ruleset |
Back to basic | does not have any ability so its not affected |
Explosive Weaponry | Double edged sword since it allows it to hit for more damage at the same time its quite weak so it might just die to the blast damage |
Armored Up | Another Double edged sword since it protects it yet hinder it at the same time. |
