My birthday recently passed on the 4th of January, I am not usually one to celebrate my birthdays as I don't tend to enjoy the aging aspect as I'm sure a bunch of us can relate to, many may say you are young still but aging is a scary process regardless!
Life seems to get faster the older you get, the years seem to fly by in a blink these days. It's good to get the most enjoyment out of everyday life as we can before we might not have to chance to anymore, with that being said I turned 30 which to me is a big milestone age. It feels much different to all previous birthdays, somewhat wisdomful hahaha
I had a fantastic day, it was all a surprise for my celebration. As a child I used to do archery solo taught in my backgarden having the time of my life, I don't know why my parents trusted me with a bow unsupervised but it grew character I guess 😂 So picking the bow back up felt natural and incredibly enjoyable, so enjoyable I very much want to continue archery lessons to improve further, was amazing fun!
I did manage to hit the bullseye one time which I am happy with! There was not many attempts to shoot seeing as it was an archery class and others participated, on my bullseye picture all the shots that hit the paper are mine (4) and the other was the participant I was sharing the range with. They heard it was my birthday and graciously offered me a sticker and free candy, thank you!
After that was some cocktails at a local known london bar franchise called Simmons followed up by dinner at a lovely Turkish resturant. I am half turkish and it's not often I get the chance to eat my favourite food seeing as the price of turkish food here in London is quite ridiculous sometimes, so it's saved for them special occasions! Dinner was beautiful although I was too hungry to take any pictures! Slipped my mind in the awe of eating, but I did capture my free complimentary birthday cake, which prior to my birthday cake being brought out 3 others were, 4 birthdays at the same place, quite the odds!
