Welcome to a guest author post, @bitcoinman here we could not line up another guest author for today so I am going to do my thing however as part of the DUO team I will relinquish the 50% benefactor profit share and 5 DUO instead it will go toward divs and growing @duo-curators HP to deliver better votes.
Lots of people have great ideas but putting them into action is where the challenges start, for instance this new Author initiative it's a really great way to grow the @duo-curator account and divs and also is very much inline with what the Hive Onboarding Committee is about with helping onboard and keep new users allowing them to earn more then they would other wise posting on their account.
A great idea really but making it happen is not as easy so far it has been a bit of a struggle to find guest authors hence I am writing this one but I hope with time we will get more interested people and perhaps some regulars.
This is not really the struggle I wanted to get into, So I am a fairly techy guy and love that technology, got me some neat smart glasses they are very cool however battery life sucks and the magnetic charging/sync cable easily falls out.
So I set about to fix this issue and also wanted to try to use this as a potential onboarding opportunity

And bellow are the ones that actually came out reasonable, however I wanted to offer another option that would look more professional
I got something called tough resin that was supposed to be fairly flexible and came out looking amazing ( on the side that matters 😂
However it was not as flexible as the manufacturer said and was still not what I was looking for
I got a different resin that is supposed to be actually flexible however it has been a challenge to get a successful print I don't really have setting for it so I have to do a lot of exploring
This is my 5th attempt and there is some progress I hope I will be able to get it sorted and can offer a premium option,
Now as for how this ties in with onboarding, well although the market for this product is small I will promo it in a Facebook user group for the glasses and offer a discount to those that are willing to join hive and also offer the file for diy printing for free if they join, I hope this effort will work and we get a few new users, I will unlikely make any substantial profit from this however it will be a part I can use and the onboarding angle I mentioned.
