Buildings in my neighborhood for POBPhotocontest

High or low, commercial or residential, classic or modern, unsightly or completely new and reconstructed, buildings are all around us in cities.

When I saw the topic "BUILDINGS", I immediately thought of the beautiful architecture of the buildings that I have photographed on various trips, visiting the central old parts of cities, as well as the new, modern parts of those same cities.

I also thought of the beautiful buildings in my city from the period between the two world wars, as well as the pre-war buildings, before the First World War (and one such building where I lived).

But since the idea of this competition is fun and it is desirable to share "fresh" photos, I skip digging through the archive, and since I can't get time to walk around the old part of my city to make a photo tour of beautiful buildings, I decide to take pictures this week buildings in my neighborhood.

In one of the previous posts, I already mentioned the "Eastern Gates of Belgrade," three buildings known as Rudo.

These three solitaires, built and occupied in 1976, with their 85 meters high and 28 floors, dominate the panorama of Belgrade when you enter it from the east.

Built in the brutalist style of modern architecture, (brutalism after the French word for rough concrete - beton brut), these three stepped-looking solitaires are placed opposite each other, while in the middle they are joined by a plateau.

There are 190 apartments in each building, with a total of 450 or 500 tenants. 1500 people, my neighbors on the surface of the football field...

I used this #POBPhotocontest to take some close-up photos of these three buildings. Since I'm taking photos with a cell phone, the quality of the photos is probably not acceptable to the photo community, but I hope it will pass for this week's contest.
