Check your habit

When I went to the market today to get my sim card back because my phone was stolen yesterday, I saw a man smoking in front of his children and he appeared to be happy about it. I was upset and forced to talk some sense into him because when children see their parents smoking, they might think it's normal, which it is not. Many people look up to their parents as role models, and even though some may say it doesn't matter, it has a significant impact. People often develop their habits based on what they see in their environment and by emulating their parents.

Many of the habits we have as adults were developed when we were younger from idolizing our parents and the environment. It's difficult to stop them because they are deeply in our consciousness. Most people with bad habits don't even realize they are bad when asked about them. They see these habits as normal and almost voluntary because they've been doing them for so long. As a result, they've become automatic habits that are hard to break.

Sometimes you can't change the bad stuff.

Every person who is successful in their field has a habit that separates them from the general public and this does not mean they don't have bad habits too but they focus on good ones and prioritize the good habits instead of the bad ones. For us to grow we must keep working on our habits and we must make sure these are the habits that will improve us and not the ones that we do for pleasure. The worst habits are promoted and sponsored by a big company and they make us belive they are good, if you do good habits long enough they will also be ingrained into your unconsciousness.

When successful people talk about their habits they seem impossible and this is because we have not tried to implement them. There is nothing good that we want to achieve in life we must neglect some of our bad habits to develop the good ones that are embedded in us. The first thing we must change is our bad habits if we are serious with our life and we must master the good habits till they become an involuntary action for us. This does not mean it will be easy but it will change our life.

Look at your habit

The most dangerous thing you can do to yourself is to believe that nothing is wrong with your habits. Many people are not honest with themselves and find it hard to let go of habits that have kept them stuck for years. As I mentioned in my previous post, you can't change anything if your mind is not ready. You need to be willing to change, move forward, examine your habits, and replace the bad ones with good ones. Look into your habits and the change today, it might seem impossible but with determination everything is possible.

That should do the business for now, maybe in 6 to 12 months time when the market peaks you can get yourself another one.

Habits are tough but I do agree that you should be careful in front of child. They tend to copy what they see a lot.

Yes, some of this things we copy from our parents are seen as normal and sometimes they are not.
