Warmest greetings to the creative enthusiasts in this community, it's a pleasure being here once again and I hope all is well. Today I was at home and I just couldn't help but try something new and different, I was about to try something I had never done before : making a flower out of clay. I have always admired clay craft and how beautiful they always turned out but I have never had the courage to try it out myself, that was, until now. So today after Many doubt, I decided to give it a try at making a flower from clay and the result came out beautiful.
MATERIALS
• clay
• stick.
PROCEDURE
step I
Firstly, I began by dividing my yellow clay into four round shape to make the flower petals.
step 2
After doing that, I then flatten the four round yellow clay with my hand so it will be flat.
step 3
Then I made pieces of red Long clay by pressing and rubbing them with my fingers to give me the desired shape I want
step 4
Here I then connected the red piece of clay I made with the yellow colored clay petal in the middle
step 5
Then take a piece of green clay and press it with your fingers to give it a long shape and place a small stick in the middle of the long green clay.
step 6
After that make some flower leave with your green clay by pressing it and make it look like leaf, then attach the green leaves to the yellow flower.
step 7
Then again, take your green clay and divide it into different pieces and press to give it a long shape which is the lower part of the flower.
step 8
After achieving that part, I then carefully attach the lower part of the flower first and then the green stem of the flower is attached to the lower part.
step 9
Finally I then made the leaves of the flower and attach them to the stem of the flower.
Here's my final result
Finally, after what felt like hours of shaping and moulding my clay flower was finally complete. As I stepped back to admire my work, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. My flower was beautifully made with it's petals and stems arranged, it was imperfect of course, but it was mine and I loved it.
