Body odor can be a significant source of stress and shame affecting personal and professional relationship. It can affect an individual by creating social awkwardness, it damages self confidence and affect mental health. When I was in school there was this particular girl who usually sit close to me, she was beautiful, smart but she had body odour. Most times I often switch sit to avoid smelling the stenches so I could breath well, I have tried several times to tell her but I couldn't because I knew it would cause her pain hearing the truth. So on a particular fight with one of our classmates, they insulted her that she had body odour, everyone in the class that day laughed at her and when she came to meet me to ask if she truly had body odour I told her yes. She was devastated, and ashamed of herself but I comforted her and told her how to stop it. Sometimes when we encounter someone with body odour we shouldn't criticize the person or condemn them rather we should show empathy, discreetiveness and gives solution to the person.
Body care is not just a personal responsibility, but a social consideration. By embracing holistic wellness practices and handling body odour situation with sensitivity we can enhance our own quality of life, Foster positive relationship, and promote a culture of understanding. In my life my daily regimen starts with a 30 minutes morning stroll or workout, followed by a refreshing shower. I use a mild soap, paying attention to the areas prone to sweat and dirt, afterwards I apply deodorant and my cream to keep my skin moisturized and hydrated.
