I almost can't believe how well it went, but the HiveColombia team kicked major butt at CriptoLatinFest and there will be major results to come from it, I can already feel it in my bones!
We were super heroes of onboarding, by the end we were managing to get people accounts, hive keychain mobile app and posting on @dbuzz within 10 minutes or less!
Help me welcome @juliandosk to HIVE!
We were there when @arlettemsalase gave an incredibly concise overview of the entire Hive ecosystem, in spanish, supported by excellent graphics.
We weren't there to compete with anyone, but instead to show everyone, even the other projects and expositors, that whatever they were doing in cripto, Hive could help them.
Help me welcome @genoside420 and @brandgonzalez !
Things really started to flow after that, we were connecting, people were interested, and we had the flow down app.holahive.com - account/keys - Hive keychain app - import existing account - internal browser - d.buzz - Success!
Help me welcome @thesebastianxeii !
I managed to get a few interviews in, in between onboarding, and Richy above for example managed to make an account but I didnt get a chance to follow him and not sure he managed to make a post - at this hour the whiskey was flowing in the VIP room.
Help me welcome @fuenteinfinita and @soyese27 from Zircon Wallet - looking forward to documenting their project on HIVE!
I met some great youngsters with a bilingual podcast and we had a great time, including talking about how they can integrate Hive into their social media efforts - Help me welcome @bryan-22 and @jthomasewsky aka Han Solo:
Projects like CryptoSmart, already in several countries, are looking at how to control their social presence and take advantage of Hive's secret super power to create theoretically infinite backlinks, and possibly find some sustainable yields around our ecosystem.
Crypto trading platform entrepreneurs interested in adding Hive and HBD, were nonetheless left contemplating all the possibilities with HIVE, I have a meeting next week with Danny from Exma:
Fredy Gomez's project WEWAC is right up our alley, protecting and saving Colombian Paramo ecosystems with crypto technology; he already has NFTs on Algorand 'because they are carbon neutral', but we will definitely be meeting more with him and his team to discuss how Hive can fit into the mix:
CryptoVision platform on BSC has a meeting with me on Wednesday on how Hive can be integrated for maximum effect - I met with their team in the cafeteria, the only place without loud music bumping.
Later in the evening, their lead developer Fredy stopped by to let me know that he had reviewed the docs I had sent him, and he liked a lot of what he was seeing. We will be in touch Fredy!
And this is just a fraction of the pictures on my own phone, the ones I was able to take, the connections I remember; keep an eye on @ecoinstante, @aurodivys, @sofiaquino98, @rafaelaquino, @tsunsica, @arlettemsalase, @fermionico, @helengutier2 and @virginianavas1 for more great pictures and updates from the event!
