Ya pasó una semana desde que me suspendieron la cuenta de Twitter. Aún no tengo ningún correo o notificación de ellos y como decidí solo esperar una semana desde la apelación, hoy estoy tomando acción. La verdad es que no tenía pensado crear una cuenta nueva, eso me daba mucha flojera, ya que sería empezar de cero, además que ellos mismos me habían dicho que no iba a poder crear una cuenta nueva. A pesar de lo que pasó aún quiero tener presencia en Twitter, esto para seguir promoviendo Hive, promover mi contenido y también para seguir activo en CREW3.

El jueves pasado estuve chateando con @noakmilo. Tuvo problemas con un video de 3Speak y le ayudé a que se publicara y también le di algunos consejos para que sus videos se procesaran más rápido. Estuve hablando con él sobre lo que pasó con mi cuenta de Twitter y amablemente me cedió una cuenta que él ya no usaba. La cuenta se llamaba @hive_hot y contaba ya con más de 630 seguidores. Se me hizo una buena forma de no empezar desde cero y la verdad es que me dio bastantes ánimos.

It's been a week since my Twitter account was suspended. I still don't have any email or notification from them, and since I decided to wait a week for the appeal, I'm taking action today. The truth is that I was not planning to create a new account. I was too lazy since it would be starting from scratch, plus they had told me that I could not create a new account. Despite what happened, I still want to have a Twitter presence, continue promoting Hive, promote my content, and remain active in CREW3.

Last Thursday, I was chatting with @noakmilo. He was having trouble with a 3Speak video, and I helped him get it posted and gave him some tips on getting his videos processed faster. I talked to him about what happened with my Twitter account, and he kindly gave me an account he was no longer using. The account was called @hive_hot and already had over 630 followers. It seemed like a good way to not start from scratch, and it gave me a lot of encouragement.

Me pasó la clave y verifiqué la cuenta con mi número de celular. Los últimos días estuve borrando todos los tweets y los likes de esa cuenta. Kmilo me pasó una herramienta para borrarlos todos en unos pocos clics, pero vi que costaba, así que decidí hacerlo manualmente. Me tardé un poco, porque eran más de mil tweets y también más de mil likes, pero lo logré. Decidí no editar la cuenta hasta tener empezar a escribir este post.

El usuario que elegí fue @eddiespinod, ya lo sé, sin miedo al éxito. No se me ocurrió otro usuario y la verdad es que no quería cambiar mucho la marca personal. En Instagram tengo ese mismo usuario y en Hive también tengo una cuenta con el mismo nombre. Esa cuenta de Hive la uso para hacer pruebas en 3Speak.tv. Actualicé la biografía, puse mi imagen de perfil y cambié la fecha de nacimiento.

He gave me the password, and I verified the account with my cell phone number. I have deleted all tweets and likes from that account for the last few days. Kmilo gave me a tool to delete them all in a few clicks, but I saw that it was difficult, so I decided to do it manually. It took me a while because there were over a thousand tweets and more than a thousand likes, but I did it. I decided not to edit the account until I started writing this post.

The user I chose was @eddiespinod, I know, with no fear of censorship. I couldn't think of another user, and the truth is that I didn't want to change the personal brand too much. I have that same user on Instagram, and on Hive, I also have an account with the same name. That Hive account I use for testing on 3Speak.tv. I updated the bio, put my profile picture, and changed the date of birth.

En los próximos días empezaré a seguir a los Hivers que conozco y a otras cuentas que ya seguía desde mi perfil antiguo. Estaré activo de la misma manera, y no me encariñaré mucho con la cuenta porque sé que no es mía y que en cualquier momento puede volver a pasar lo mismo. En el caso de que me devuelvan la cuenta anterior ya veré que hago. Posiblemente, solo le dé retweet a todo lo que haga con esta cuenta.

Acabo de conectar esta nueva cuenta de Twitter a mi cuenta de Hive por medio de https://hiveposh.com/. También pude cambiar la cuenta de Twitter en CREW3.

In the next few days, I will start following Hivers I know and other accounts I was already following from my old profile. I will be active in the same way, and I will not get too attached to the account because I know it is not mine, and at any moment, the same thing can happen again. I just connected this new Twitter account to my Hive account via https://hiveposh.com/. I was also able to change the Twitter account in CREW3.
