Hello, best wishes to all black and white photography lovers. With this post I am making my entry to the #monomad challenge.
Walking around Old Havana is like traveling back in time. Whenever I have a chance I take a walk there and walk its cobblestone streets of yesteryear. This time I walked the part of the boardwalk that meets the bay. It is very beautiful and well preserved area, special for sightseeing and taking some pictures. That is what I did. I took my camera and started capturing moments, the old sites, the people, the street, the cars? Wait, here comes one, let's let it pass...!
Yeah, where was I? Ah the photos, yes. As I was saying, I like to take pictures of this place. That day I was really in a bit of a hurry and set the camera on automatic with a 55-200 lens. I just pointed and pressed the shutter without checking on the screen. That's how it was all the way through. I took enough shots.
Then when I get home and check the card I notice something unusual. After the photos of the almendron sequence, only images of certain elements that were way old in comparison to this machine, were recorded.
What? Only images that went back in time? An older almendron and finally the horse-drawn carriages, as if it had gone back to the 18th century.
Could it be that the environment affected the camera or that the camera rode the time machine? 😳
