The bruises from my fall have finally healed, which means I can get back to my regular sport routine in the mornings. It feels great to be able to move without discomfort, and I’ve missed the energy boost that early exercise brings to my day. This morning, I started light to ease back into things, focusing on stretching and cardio to ensure everything was in working order. Maybe tomorrow I will return to cycling.

Today I received two postcards from my daughter. She sent them from Madrid when she and her dad got the chance to visit some time last month. I think to date I have received a total of 18 postcards from her. 🙌

Today I was out of his morning buying "Cat Fuel", and I noticed this absolute Gem outside the Grocery Store - a 1967 Ford Ranchero! This is a very rare bird, very rare!
So I snapped a few photos and headed into the store.

Today is Friday, the work week ends, although in my case it doesn't mean much because I work from home and as a freelancer. So, if I get a job that I can take on the weekend, I'm going to take it. My day has been calm and delightfully quiet, the kind of day I like. Although Friday night is often associated with going out partying with colleagues or partners, that's something I've left for memory.
It's like the joke that 'One day you're young, and the next day…' and here you put anything that serves to exemplify something that people who are no longer young usually say. And the phrase is so versatile that I even think it can be considered a Meme. Let's change the subject, I'd rather comment on a #food celebration that a colleague told me about today: Chocolate Cupcake Day.
