So our weeks topic is Neighbourhood Etiquette . The word etiquette can also mean the does and don't of neighborhood, so what I understand from this topic is that we are asked to talk about what we can do and cannot do to our neighbors, it also means what can be acceptable and unacceptable in the neighborhood relationship. So let's dive in into this great topic with many branches. I guess I will have to look for somewhere to start from. Let's dive
As for me, I see my neighbor as my closest friend in my area of living, because we do meet most of the time, he or she is the nearest person I can relate with when am in need, it's just like there is a bond due to the closeness of our houses. So there are many things that I can do and I cannot do to my neighbor.
Most times it's according to the type of neighbor that you have, and the type of neighborhood relationship between the two of you guys. But for me, I can confidently lend my neighbor my stuff knowing very well that he is going to return it back, because we already have a good bond and I know the type of person that my neighbor is a very kind and caring person,so I can trust my critical stuffs with him.
Things that are supposed to be done in the neighborhood mostly is frequent greetings and salute to each other whenever you meet. This will show your neighbors the kind of heart you have, it will show them that you are a caring person and it will make them come closer to you the more. Another thing again is for you to freely lend your stuff to them with care and without complains, it would make them feel your kindness towards them.
Neighbourhood consist of two or more houses close to each other with people living in them. So in a neibouring environment, you shouldn't take what's yours without the owners permission, doing that would make them feel like you are disrespectful, and it would lead to a bad relationship between the two of you. Just keep this two advice and see how it's gonna work for you
