Yeah your guess was as good as mine (giggles). ANTHONY MARTIAL
A French footballer born in massy, France.
Still a player of Manchester United, but on loan at Sevilla in Spain now. It’s been 6 turbulent years for the Frenchman at United. Has had to adapt to the changes of 4 managers, all with different tactics and different footballing philosophies.

It hasn’t been a rosy story for the French man. Nicknamed “ice cold tony” by the United faithfuls. He started his playing career as a youth player in CO les Ulis. After 8 years he moved to Lyon where he registered only 3 senior appearances. He moved to Monaco in 2013 and registers 14 goals across 2 seasons. It was then he caught the eyes of Louis van gaal, a former United manager. Martial became an integral part of the United team under van gaal.
Tony had one of the most iconic and historical debuts in the 21st century for a United player, when he scored against Liverpool at Old traffors in a full capacity stadium to such electrifying noise and chants from the fans,
He left skirtel lost in his own box a Liverpool great, before he poked in his ever first goal in a United shirt.. yeah that was when I first heard the shout that “a gem has arrived”, unfortunately for us it was not so, he suffered some personal issues with his wife and got distracted by family issues, all these affected his form and appearances were slim because of reoccurring injuries.
Tony had his most successful season under Ole Gunnar solksjaer on 2019/2020. In a season where he had over 20+ goals and assist. United were a joy to watch that season. Our forward three of martial, rashford and Greenwood were doing magic like “Harry in the potter”.
Fast forward a year now and we had martial fighting for his place in a team were he seems like the most promising product at one point. On a
good day, tony was unplayable but lack of dedication and maturity I feel affected his game and relationship with managers, had issues with mourinho and that Looks bound to repeat itself under Ralf.

In my books martial still remains one of the best utility forward, but it hurts me whenever I realize he never fully fulfilled his potentials at United. I wish him all the best in his new adventure as I’m sure his mind is already far away from United. Tony will always remain a special player to me regardless.
Finally i do wish he sets laliga on fire so he can return with even greater value.. “ICE COLD TONY” forever one of the best wingers in the game.
