I'm happy to have you back on blog after a while. It's a rainy season over here and there's a little change in the weather however God has been faithful to me. I finished my third term exams and to God's glory I have been promoted to the next class that will begin in September. I would share on that as time progresses.
I want to share something about the secret of longevity. Many people thought life is all about impartation etc but there are other salient things that could pave one's way to long life.
Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.6:2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise. 6:3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
This might be a common scripture but there quite some lessons we could pick up here. Obedience is very important. It's a key that can open lots of doors for a child. It's good to honour the parents both biological and spiritual ones.
The emphasis is in verse 3. That you may live long. Love, honour and care to parents would make a child to have plenty blessings.
We can obey our parents when they send us on errands. Early in the morning, we need to greet them. Let's do good to them and continue to pray for them for God to guide and protect them.
May God help us to be obedient to parents so that we live long to glorify the name of the Lord.
