This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes
Today is a very big day that everyone has been waiting for. In the nature fight club, we have a match of the century waiting to start. A fight that has intrigued the fight club lover, as the rumor of the match has been shared by the slow winds, carrying the rumor all across the bushes on the floor of the small shaded area in the small corner of the jogging track.
On the first corner, we have this small, solitary but powerful ant. Don't look at the size of this fighter, it might look small, but it packs a lot of punch, even the bigger animal is afraid of this little guy. if you don't believe it, maybe you could ask the elephant about how powerful this little guy is.
Look at its pose here, nothing could make this little guy retreat from its position. He is always ready, more over for an important fight like the one that we are about to witness.
on the opposing corner, we have this cute Katydid. The size of this guy is a lot bigger than the ant. This is also a shy fighter, mostly will evade a physical confrontation. Look at the long hind legs that this guy uses to escape the fight. One hop, then this little guy is gone.
But because the rumor has spread across the forest floor, it has no other choice but to face the smaller yet vicious opponent. Maybe it will have a big chance of winning, because of the size, and also the "hidden" weapon it has on its hind leg.
He is also getting ready, want to jumped into the main fight area.
But not sure what it heard from the side, it moved its body to the side. maybe he wants to use his final skill which is to evade the fight. the fight rumor that spread by the slow-moving air.
But apparently, it was me, who was spreading this false information to all the forest creatures, as I really wanted them to come out so that I could take as many photos as I can. : )
