This is the first time I saw the weevil with this kind of coloration. It look like this cute weevil is trying to copy the color of a Dalmatian dog. or maybe it is the other way around, the Dalmatian dog copies the coloration and the pattern of this weevil. hahaha
At first I saw the weevil on the blade of this grass, maybe trying to go out, or basking in the sun to warm up its body, since I took the photos early in the morning. I took several shots of the weevil on the blade of the grass before it fell down on the bush below when I tried to twist the blade of the grass for a better angel. I was pushing my luck way too much.
But maybe I was lucky, since some minutes later I again find th same weevil on the same grass. But this time it is rather trying to hide from me. Maybe the encounter that I had with the weevil gave it a bit of a trauma, so when I get close for the second time it trying so hard to hide as fast as it can, into the middle part of the grass.
I have tried to find the name of this weevil species with black and white pattern, but unfortunately there is not much info I can get online, maybe if you have some info you can let me know in the comment.
